Milan Fashion Week – one of the most important fashion events in the world. Just like the others it’s held regularly, twice a year – that’s common. One brand that showed clothes in front of an audience was Versace. Some of the other brands that took part this time were Just Cavalli, Emilio Pucci and Emporio Armani. Milan Fashion Week as a company also collaborates with the following brands on a more permanent basis – they are Janson Wu, Larwin, Miu Miu, Manolo Blahnik, Donna Karan New York and Michael Kors.
Actually, Versace must be a priority at the show because they are from the city Milan itself. The fashion show is perhaps an invention for them and their staff must feel as if they are the stars at the show. Versace was founded in 1978 and is a fashion company. They follow trends everywhere in the world – such as street trends – and their designers make clothes inspired by what they see.
The newest Versace collection has tops which can make anyone happy! The colors are blended in a nice way. People saw a top with blue and black spots on white background. There’s a part that comes out under where you might think the item ends with smaller prints in black. The fabric is actually double. It’s a bit like having one material on top of another. It looks good when one part comes down below the other. This collection’s name is VERSUS.
The other brands at the show: Just Cavalli also presented their spring and summer collection for 2014. A lady there said she really liked a pair of shoes that are suitable for the summer or for anywhere with a cold climate. The shoes in question have lots of colors and extremely pointed and narrow heels. The heels are thin and have the same measure all the way up to the back bottom of the shoe. The shoe is red and has print. It’s a great design.
Emilio Pucci has a dress this season, the season that was shown earlier this year in Milan. It looks fantastic on the model. It has a high neck without collar and it ends about two decimeters above the knee. The pattern is what some people refer to as “busy” with lots of different shapes and colors. It’s definitely unusual but the cut looks normal the fabric is fantastic – high-end fashion, no doubt.
Emporio Armani, also an Italian fashion house, presented elegant costumes for men – looks top notch but also very normal. You may not notice a well dressed man in a suit from them as being anything but normally dressed – that’s my take on them.
The Milan Fashion Week was sponsored by Mercedes Benz.
