Tanvi Kedia’s S/S 15 collection is a wardrobe for a woman where ever she may be. This season she creates a flurry of folkloric memories rich with history and a sense of place, tales and traditions. A lover and collector of all things vintage, Tanvi Kedia eventually turned her love of the nostalgiv hunt for vintage into making this collection. The collection is about a traveller’s cultural catharsis and her adventures through Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. This serves as impetus for the collection’s ethnic aesthetic, intricate digital prints, and multi-hued embroidery.

Her collection consisted of alluring blouses, kaftans, dresses, skirts, shots, pants and jackets embodying the effortless style synonymous with the Tanvi Kedia label. The vivid color palette incorporates bright pop-colors accents in the mosaic puzzle of embellishments and prints. Informal geometrics and colourful floral patterns create a unique global melange. This casual hyper culture collection is traditional and unconventional, and portrays a blend of ethnic tones and the free, nomadic spirit.
